Tasks
- Meet with customers to discuss their solution needs and site requirements
- Map out the installation location/area and assess equipment requirements.
- Install equipment and cabling in factories and warehouses
- Troubleshoot system and network issues
- Apply problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues with offered solutions
- Install and setup equipment, including computers, network devices, barcode scanners, tunnels, portals, tabletops, overheads, and other read zones
- Provide basic operating instructions
- Maintain toolkits and spares parts inventory
- Provide timely and accurate status updates to customers and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- BSc.Engineering/BTech. in Mechanical/Electrical/IPE or related subjects.
- 1-5 years' experience in a technical field
- Good technical understanding and practical experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, including a strong understanding of IP networking technologies
- Work experience in external hardware and software support
- Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for creative problem-solving
- Previous work experience as an installer of advanced systems and networks
- Willingness to travel to the installation places
